Sami Valimaki: 2025 RSM Classic Tournament Champion
Sami Välimäki, a 27-year-old Finnish professional golfer, captured the title at the 2025 RSM Classic with a brilliant 23-under performance at Sea Island Golf Club. With a final-round 66, Välimäki secured a one-stroke victory and became the first Finnish player ever to win on the PGA TOUR, marking a historic milestone for his country. A former European Tour winner and Finnish Armed Forces military graduate, Välimäki’s steady rise in professional golf culminated in this breakthrough moment. His win at The RSM Classic earned him a two-year PGA TOUR exemption and established him as one of the game’s emerging international talents.
